• Description De Prince stof is een van de twee ontwerpen, samen met de "Princess", die Boontje ontwierp. Het patroon van de beide stoffen stelt contrasterende rozenpatronen voor die over elkaar heen zijn gelegd. Het is een stof met een gedetailleerd, figuratief en floraal patroon. Het is een voorbeeld van Boontje's werk, waarin hij moderne technieken zoals laser-cutting combineert met een natuurlijke esthetiek. De stof is dusdanig iconisch dat deze deel uitmaakt van de collectie van het Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Hieruit blijkt de artistieke waarde en het unieke karakter van het ontwerp.
