- Description Maharam and Paul Smith have been working together for a long time. The stripes are a distinctive trademark of Paul Smith and are usually featured in coloured thick and thinner stripes. The upholstery fabric is used on furniture by Herman Miller and Artifort, amongst others. This Maharam fabric features classic yet complex woven stripes that combine contrasting colours and shades to create a harmonious, modern effect.
