The Fiord 2 upholstery fabric from Kvadrat has a three-dimensional appearance with beautiful colour gradients. The use of different colour shades in the warp and weft creates a mottled effect. The original fabric was designed by the Norwegian designer Tone Barnung, who drew inspiration from moonlight glistening on the waters of a fjord. Louise Sigvardt later revamped the fabric and added a new colour palette.
